As a result of its Regulatory Services Agreement, the CBOE has issued notice related to changes in the manner in which Regulatory Reports are to be submitted to FINRA’s Firm Gateway.

DTCC issues a whitepaper outlining its views on Central Counterparty Operations and the steps it will take to refine and enhance the financial resources and default management structures of NSCC and FICC.

FINRA is requesting comment on a proposed rule to require firms that hire or associate with a registered representative to provide educational communication to the former retail customers who the member, directly or through the registered representative attempts to induce the Transfer of Assets to the recruiting firm or the customer if they so choose to transfer assets to the firm.

FINRA launched a national ad campaign promoting Broker Check, its free online tool that allows investors to access information about every broker’s employment history, certifications and licenses, as well as regulatory actions, violations or complaints made against them.

FATCA will begin IDES Testing June 1 2015.

MSRB received SEC approval of its amendments to Rule G-14 on Transaction Reporting and RTRS reporting systems. The amendments will be effective May 23, 2016.

Effective Monday, July 13, 2015, the FINRA/Nasdaq TRF will support the amendments to FINRA rules governing the Trade Reporting of over-the-counter (OTC) transactions. To support these changes, the FINRA/Nasdaq TRF specifications have been updated. Members are encouraged to review the updated specifications.

Due to a downgrade in credit ratings, effective immediately, OCC will no longer accept Letters of Credit issued by Unicredit Bank AG.
